October 11, 2022 – Recently, MiniMUN’s Executive Director Natalie Wong presented on MiniMUN along with Schools for Climate Action to Presidio Graduate School’s 2022 cohort of students as part of the school’s fall webinar series. Based in San Francisco, Presidio Graduate School is considered one of the top sustainability MBA programs and has previously been named the school to go to “if you want to change the world” by the New York Times.
At Presidio, in a reversal of traditional roles, the student - Wong - taught around 20 teachers how to use MiniMUN with their own students. She engaged teachers in the MiniMUN process by walking them through each stage of the curriculum and explaining MiniMUN’s past experiences in the classroom.
Wong described the webinar as an “amazing, one-of-a-kind opportunity. We were all able to learn from each other, which is such a valuable and rare experience because usually, students feel as though they are the ones who are learning from the teacher, and don’t get as many opportunities to take control of the classroom themselves.” In the future, she hopes to continue her mission of creating value, sparking confidence, and introducing problem-solving mindsets for students around the world through MiniMUN.
